They clip onto a pipe fence post and hold your electric fence wire 3-1/2" from the face the post. These insulators hold well when clipped on, but a self-drilling screw or some adhesives can be utilized where a stronger hold is required. We recommend Permatex Clear RTV silicone when glueing.
